The project

Ravenlore

Beauty and brutality. Faith and doubt. The sacred and the profane.

The story

A world of melancholy and mysticism

Ravenlore is a symphonic gothic metal project created by composer, lyricist and producer Vinicius Reis, drawing from the dark, orchestral tradition of late-'90s and early-2000s gothic and symphonic metal.

Emerging in 2024 with the self-titled debut album, Ravenlore weaves heavy guitars, orchestral arrangements, violin, layered clean and harsh vocals, female soprano voices and haunting atmospheres into music shaped by melancholy, mysticism and inner conflict.

With Deus Absconditus, Ravenlore ventures deeper into darkness, building an eleven-track historical-fiction narrative around faith, forbidden thought, institutional certainty and the survival of a question.
